I’m glad you liked the deathly hallow TOMS!  I used a pencil, a silver sharpie, and two different acrylic paints.  I usually use the FolkArt acrylic paint.  First I traced out the DH & Doe with the pencil or sharpie.  Then you can use a thin brush to paint over the design with your paint.  If you are wanting to do something like the ones I did it is best to use a base color for the entire design, and then add the glitter paint on top of the base.  I used Metallic Pearl White as the base for both the DH & Doe, and Extreme Glitter paint in silver for any of the silver areas.  Good luck with your TOMS!  I am sure your boyfriend will love them!
